220lbs max but very easy to push, if your using this for a rounder person the chair is going to squeeze them a little. Also you will stoop to push this chair if your 5”6 or taller. It’s very smooth it takes the bumps easy it is very easy to kick the front end up with the convenient foot bar. You will encounter cracks and obstacles that you can not avoid a dump over or close call to so use the foot bar all the time to get through rough area like streetcar tracks …. Super light… very strong but I don’t think it will last with maximum weight capacity on this unit all the time.My husband ordered this for his parents he wanted something portable and lightweight that his elderly father easily handle to push my mother-in-law in. It's rather low and small, so it wouldn't be ideal for anyone over 5'5" or overweight probably shouldn't get this. The booklet is all in Chinese, you don't realt need it, but it's not helpful if you don't read Chinese.I have tried a couple of these for my mom. And although this one is easier to fold, handle and roll, the leg rest is too high and keeps knees on an uncomfortable incline, not good for people with knee problems. The chair should feel like a normal sitting position. It does no because of the leg rest. I wish I could return it but it is already used. The cheaper version of transport chairs have a more comfortable sitting position. Also, not easy to roll as picture shows.No parking brake.The only issue I have with it is the space from where your pushing the wheelchair is where your hand and the person sitting down it doesn't give you cushion. But other than that I love itThis chair is made for persons no taller than 4 feet. It is heavy, does not pull behind you as shown in the photos and video, and when you place your feet on the foot rest, your knees will bump you in the chin. The person this was purchased for is only 5' 2" and it was extremely uncomfortable for her to put her feet on the foot rest since it required her knees to be bent in an almost crouching position.It would've been nice if the book came in English so people who don't know any other languages the could read it. Make sure you look the chair before you push anyone in it that way when you go to get them out the chair doesn't start to fold on youThe flip-up foot rest is definately for shorter individuals -- bought for my 5'2" mom and her knees were about 6" above the edge of the seat. Also, the attachment knobs for the hand brakes jabbed into her upper back (above the seat rest) when she was just sitting in the seat. Lastly, the seat is super hard for a bony little old lady.On the good side, it is VERY maneuverable and easy to steer, folds up well.
