Perfect size for carrying the things we need with easy access, light-weight jacket, cell phone, tissues, etc. My wife still likes to have her purse handy, but this bag really comes in handy for extras. Haven't been in any rain yet.Needed something to hold my purse, when pushing my mom. Spilled water on it & it rolled off with no problem. I can’t attest to a downpour though. I’ve only had it a few weeks. It’s a very convenient addition to my chair so far.??I love this bag. It’s lightweight. And so convenient. Perfect size.This wheelchair backpack looks a little smaller than I expected on the back of my wheelchair but it does hold what I need to drag around with me when I'm out for the day. I can get my 11.5" laptop in a padded case, a book, a few of my medical supplies, a few extra pieces of clothing, and a notebook or sketch pad in it. I have a saddlebag on one of the armrests for my phone and other small items like sugarless caramels, tissues, and medication that I want to keep close at hand for quick access rather than in the backpack.It's large enough for the things I already mentioned plus my caregiver's wallet, phone, folder with my medical information, keys, and a notepad so she's not burdened with dragging a purse along.If I go to the store with the backpack empty or almost empty. I can get some lightweight groceries in it. I don't think it's strong enough for 10 pounds of potatoes, a sack of oranges, and several cans of soup; I can guarantee it wouldn't even fit all that or even half and would rip apart. But, it's fine for small shopping trip items like some ice cream, one can of soup, a few bags of frozen vegetables, a salad kit, and a box of tea bags. Oh, and a box of pierogies; can't forget the pierogies! It's not really made for grocery shopping. More for taking stuff along with you while out but works if you just need a few items like pierogies and butter.I also use it to put things like a book, a magazine, clothing, snacks, or art supplies in it at home to get whatever from one room or spot to another. It's quite the handy dandy item!The backpack is well made and seems like it will hold up for quite a long time. Definitely better than the last wheelchair backpack I had; which began to rip in less than 3 months and cost much more.This bag is poorly designed. There is no zip, and the bag opening is loosely secured by a horizontal velcro strip across the flap that obscures the bag opening. This means that the bag hangs in a shapeless mess when it is empty and sags when you place items in it, with the mouth gaping open. I returned it immediately upon testing it out. Lesson learnt: never buy a side storage bag without a zip.This item is poorly constructed and does not fit my mobility device. When I made a return request for the item, the company shipped a second item, and directed me to return the first/second? item when it arrives. I will have to begin the return process all over again.I would not recommend this product under any circumstances.UsefulAwful!!! We returned it immediately and got or $ back. The description was so wrong. It was small, poor quality and the material was not strong at all. What a joke of a bag!!!
