This is exactly what I was looking for. The only complaint I have is that it sits to on the chest so high that it rises up to his chin. I have to monitor the positionMy disabled husband is still able to slide out of the bottom. The straps do not hold tight enough. The plastic clasps will pull off. He is only 120 pounds medium built and I can’t pull it tight enough as the straps are pulled to he lowest levels. Is is made of very good products. Works better with a normal regular wheel chair but not so well with the tilt wheel chair.At first you might think this won't be enough, but surprisingly is. I imagine there's only two uses for this and that's to keep a patient from falling forward out of the chair, or restraining a dementia/mentally ill patient.If you try leaning froward to get out of the chair it won't let you. I pulled with all my migt and couldn't get out.Purchased for my Dad who is wheelchair bound with MS. He doesn’t have the core strength to sit upright. We have used this every day since receiving. It keeps him upright and much more comfortable and supported in his chair. He is also safe in the chair. While we use his seat belt daily in the chair , this additional vest like belt keeps him very secure , sitting up straight which puts less strain on his back without feeling encumbered. Highly recommend for those with MS and other diseases or injuries which require secure wheelchair assistance.Fácil de ponerVest is made well but it is so large that it won’t stay in place. Not made for a small or a short female.Product works as stated. Used on my special needs son13 and my father 61. Works well for both. Would recommend.Recieved this item today and the closure/connection in the back has two female halves instead of a male and female connectors so you can't fasten it. I am including a photo. If possible I would like to get a male half of the connector sent to me so we can use it. We can't return it as it is needed right away so we are tying it instead of using the buckle until we can find a male buckle half.
