This is a great application for those who are wheelchair bound - think of the old fashioned school desks with the side arm for holding books, writing paper, plate, bowl, etc., only you can carry it with you. The only down-side is that it does require a little space within the sitting width of the chair - about 1/2". These are available in both right and left-hand.
